| Meet Robyn Yates |
Whether she's performing on stage or helping a family find the perfect golf course community, Robyn Yates is known as much for her honesty and professionalism as her passion and creativity. She strikes a harmonious balance that puts people at ease. "My very first introduction to Robyn made me feel excited about my search for a new home,"says client Nancy Haack. "She listened, made herself available and provided key follow-up. If I were ever to sell real estate, I'd want to sell exactly like Robyn. She is confident, thorough and fun to work with." |
| My Beliefs |
For her part, Robyn wouldn't have it any other way. A performer at heart and a REALTOR¨ by trade, she believes in establishing long-term relationships with people that transcend traditional parameters. "I consider many of my clients to be my friends," smiles Robyn. "I enjoy their company. It's not unusual for me to get together with them for dinner or a few rounds of golf." Even though she laughingly admits to being a "terrible" golfer, she is passionate about the game. She and her husband, Dennis, belong to Lake Las Vegas Southshore Golf Club, where they often enjoy various events with other members and guests. |
| My Background |
While she is an avid golfer, it is her extensive background in memberships, marketing golf communities and the overall lifestyle that has earned Robyn a following as the area's premier golf community specialist. Her clients benefit from 15 years' experience marketing and managing private country club communities in Alaska, Arizona and California. As regional director of sales and regional marketing manager for Club Corporation of America, the world's largest owner and operator of private clubs, Robyn was directly responsible for hiring and training sales personnel for more than 25 private clubs. |
| Integrity and Results |
With her easily measurable results-including the creation of new club concepts that generated more than $750,000 in revenue-Robyn found herself climbing the ladder of success. She was also faced with a choice."Since Dennis is a real estate developer, it is an area I wanted to explore," says Robyn. "I had my California real estate license and a job offer from Del Webb, but I put my real estate aspirations on hold when I was offered the position of general manager at the Monterey Country Club (Palm Desert, CA)." The challenges of country club management led Robyn from Monterey Country Club to the Palm Valley Country Club, a beautiful facility with two golf courses, 19 championship tennis courts, a spa and more than 200 staff members. After two successful years at Palm Valley, Robyn and Dennis relocated to southern Nevada, and Robyn immediately obtained her Nevada real estate license. "I developed, co-owned and hosted a half-hour real estate listing television program," says Robyn. "The show really allowed me to combine my interest in real estate with my love for performing." Following the show's run, Robyn developed and delivered customized training seminars for Fortune 500 companies before turning to real estate full time. |
